A design enthusiast – she firmly believes that good design is a catalytic tool for both commercial and social enterprise as well as socio-political initiatives. In addition to her creative services for small businesses and corporate entities, she has enjoyed numerous opportunities to engage her design expertise in promoting local and global efforts for social good.
As an advocate for "social design", Kim has graciously seized opportunities to help effect social sustainability through design for neighboring communities, industry communities and global communities alike. With a passion for food...and healthy food, Kim contributes her creative skills to Food Allies, a local community health and wellness initiative in Prospect Heights & Crown Heights, Brooklyn. She is also a volunteer for World Compassion Fellowship – a Brooklyn–based non-profit organization that facilitates international humanitarian programs consisting of medical and dental aid, English language education and local business development for remote impoverished communities and refugee populations. Kim looks forward to furthering her humanitarian efforts by contributing to design for social change and design for the other 90%.
